A large food manufacturer contacted us to design a custom compaction table that would be used for settling croutons in corrugated gaylords while measuring how much weight is in each container. Their needs were fulfilled by integrating an industry leading indicator/scale combination with one of our custom-made pneumatic compaction tables using our NTS™ Non-Impacting Linear Vibrator to produce the vibration. The indicator monitors the weight throughout the filling process and sends a signal to a PLC.
