I am hauling quite a bit of oat flower and soybean meal. It’s an amazing tool to have. You can place it on the Hopper wherever it’s needed. It can save me easily up to two hours on my unload time. I did add a regulator to it so that I can set the pressure according to how much of a vibration I need for the product to start flowing out of my hoppers. Sometimes it needs just a soft gentle vibration to start the flow or keep the constant flow going.

It's always with me. Gives me peace of mind.

Purchased a hopper trailer to haul soybean meal. It had no vibrators. We bought this and even though quite expensive we got along very well with it for quite a while. However, we unload in a very dirty environment and eventually it was constantly getting plugged, was heavy to move around in limited access areas. In short, it was good for about a year, then we installed permanent vibrators, 2 per hopper for about the same money and work more dependably. Still has a place and I might buy again under other circumstances.

I have a standard hopper trailer, I emailed Michael Holland on Sunday about the MT Fast vibrator. He called me back first thing Monday morning by 0830 with options that worked for what I needed. Used it today on sugar beet shreds in Kentucky with a 105 Heat Index, took two hours. Moved it about 8 times per hopper. Without it, I don’t believe the load would have moved. Unloading Gluten pellets is the next load. I carry two in my truck at all times and extra parts. Wouldn’t want to be without one.

  • Unloading Azomite From a Hopper Bottom Trailer
    Problem

    A hauler was having trouble emptying his hopper trailer completely when emptying loads of azomite, a broad spectrum natural mineral product, at a feed mill. He often had to manually dislodge the material by banging on the hopper walls with a mallet – a dangerous task that causes muscle strain and increases the risk for operator injury.

    Situation

    Robert Holly of Oakley Trucking Inc. has been driving a hopper bottom trailer for many years. On several occasions, he has had to manually dislodge settled or stuck-on material from the hopper in order to completely empty a load. Unloading azomite was particularly slow and problematic.
